It’s been way too long since I sat down and typed out my current thoughts to share.
I wish I could say that I had a good reason for this, but I don’t. Mostly, I’m just choosing to cuddle my baby or have a movie night with my husband. Even more frequently, you’ll find me going to bed shortly after the kids because life is busy and Mama is tired!
I will choose every single day to not to regret any of these things. I would like to find some kind of balance because sharing our journey, both past and in the future, is important to me.
The short answer to the ever popular question right now, regarding if we have come to the end of our traveling journey is… NO! Absolutely not. We are in NO WAY done traveling. Click To Tweet
The long answer is, well, rather long! If you follow me on my personal FB you may have noticed that we are back in Arizona and seem to be settling in.
The kids are involved in a local soccer club and I’ve taken on the role of VBS director at our church.
We have set up a nice outside play space for the kids, which includes a sandbox that we only pull out when we are in AZ for a stretch, and eventually this will include a popup canopy for shade because whew, that AZ sun is HOT!
We intend to be in AZ for awhile while we take care of some pretty big adulting items, and of course, make some memories with Papa and our local village of friends.
How long will we be here?
There are way too many variables to even begin to answer that question.
We’ll ultimately be around until what we need to do is done. I know it all seems sort of vague, but to be honest it’s personal and needs to be right now.
I promise when exciting life adulting things happen, we’ll share them.
For now, we can only speculate and its too unpredictable to chatter on about. We are trusting that God led us here and knows more about His plans for us at this time than we do!
Even though we are setting up in AZ for a while, that doesn’t mean our travels are done!
I sat down the other day to brainstorm some places I want to explore nearby and in that first quick thinking session I came up with 42 must see locations within 2.5-3 hours driving distance.
FORTY-TWO!!
Y’all that doesn’t even cover most of the state, but is just the first things I thought of within an easy day trip distance! We have so much to see and do right here in AZ, and what better time to do it than when we need to be in the area anyway.
This post is getting pretty long, so check back for my next post where I’ll talk about how our longterm travel is changing compared to how we’ve traveled the last 3.5 years!
I love hearing from my readers - thanks for leaving a comment!
